The Lee Carlyle Memorial Tournament returns this March with three days of high-energy Masters lacrosse, big personalities, and the kind of chaotic brilliance that makes this event a favourite across the community. Five teams will hit the floor—Relics, Red Deer, Okotoks, Average Joes, and the always-unpredictable Yoinkers & Boinkers—each bringing their own flavour of grit, humour, and competitive fire.

The tournament opens Friday night with a triple-header designed to set the tone early. Yoinkers & Boinkers clash with the Relics in a matchup guaranteed to wake up the boards, followed by the Average Joes taking on Red Deer in a grinder that promises end-to-end action. The night closes with Okotoks facing Yoinkers & Boinkers, a late-slot showdown between structure and chaos.

Saturday delivers the full gauntlet: six straight hours of Masters lacrosse, an open-floor rest break, and a final afternoon tilt before the Tournament Social. From early-morning battles to mid-day momentum swings, every team will be fighting for position heading into Sunday’s finals.

Sunday wraps the weekend with two games: the 3rd vs. 4th place matchup at 10 AM, followed by the Championship at 11 AM. And while only four teams hit the floor, the fifth team gets the most important job of all—the official hype squad, cheering, chirping, and enjoying a couple of ice-cold bevies that may or may not have appeared from mysterious sources.

The Lee Carlyle Memorial Tournament is more than a competition—it’s a celebration of community, camaraderie, and the joy of playing the game we love. Whether you’re on the floor, on the bench, or in the stands, this weekend is built for memories, laughs, and a whole lot of lacrosse.
